From 1st to 3rd November, 2006
The fifth ASHRAE RAL ARC was inaugurated on the 1st November, 2006. It was hosted by the Emirates Falcon chapter after being shifted from Beirut and co-chaired with the Lebanese Chapter.
It was a grand event at the newly built Al-Murooj Rotana Hotel, with one hundred attending the Conference. The Welcome Party was held on a cruise boat on the Dubai Creek and was a great
success too.
The Technical Seminar was titled “ASHRAE Technical Standards on HVAC&R, Share Local Practices with Global Members”, with eight speakers giving excellent presentations. The concluding
event was an evening in the desert, complete with belly dancers and camel rides.
Dubai is a beautiful city and the CRC was meticulously planned, organized and executed by the hosts making it a memorable CRC for all those who attended.
