Mr Osama Khayata
Mechanical engineer from Aleppo University, Syria. Graduated in 2002.
At present, he is Head of Mechanical Design at Azizi Developments. He is currently in charge to design all mechanical systems in two big projects in Dubai: Azizi Riviera (69 residential buildings) and Azizi Victoria (more than 100 residential buildings)
He is a LEED Green Associate, and has more than 14 years in HVAC design and installation in GCC and Syria. He is an accredited lecturer in Society of Engineers in Dubai since 2017. Also, Osama is an ASHRAE CHD (Certified HVAC Designer) since 2019.
He is an active member in ASHRAE Falcon Chapter and ASHRAE Region-at-Large. Currently He is the Regional Communications Chair in RAL. On ASHRAE Falcon Chapter level, Osama served as a Membership Promotion Committee Chair for three years and the Communications Chair and the Chapter Webmaster for three years. In addition, he served as a committee co-chair and committee member in many committees. Also. he is currently the team leader of ASHRAE standards translation team, which translates some ASHRAE standards into Arabic.
Osama has published more than 15 free books and booklets (pdf) in Arabic related to HVAC field.
