Biography
Mechanical engineer from Aleppo University, Syria. Graduated in 2002.
At present, he is the MEP Director at Swank Development Real-Estate Developers, Dubai, UAE.
He is a LEED Green Associate, and Certified Sa’fat Engineer (Green rating system in Duabi) and has more than 18 years in HVAC design and installation in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Syria. He is an accredited lecturer in Society of Engineers in Dubai since 2017. Also, Osama is an ASHRAE CHD (Certified HVAC Designer) since 2019.
He is an active member in ASHRAE Falcon Chapter and ASHRAE Region-at-Large. Currently He is the Regional Vice-Chair Chair for the Technology Transfer Committee in RAL.
Also, he is currently the team leader of ASHRAE standards translation team, which translates some ASHRAE standards into Arabic.
Osama has published more than 15 free books and booklets (pdf) in Arabic related to HVAC field.
