Dr.Syed Ameer Basha is working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering department at Jubail Industrial College, Saudi Arabia. He holds Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree with specialization “HEAT POWER-REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING” from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India.

Dr.Ameer Basha has more than 18 years’ teaching experience in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Basha actively participated in the teaching of Mechanical Engineering courses for the BS degree program in Mechanical Engineering (such as Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Thermodynamics, etc.), supervised Senior Projects and other departmental activities. Dr. Basha tremendously contributed to the preparation of self-study report for the accreditation of the BS degree program by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA and the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), Saudi Arabia.

He worked as Program Assessment and Evaluation Committee (PAEC) member during ABET accreditation in the department. He has experience in developing course specifications and preparing course reports. He published research papers in different journals and also a reviewer.
