Muhammad Uzair studied Mechanical Engineering as an undergraduate, and postgraduate student, at the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. On completing his studies, he was employed as the faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NED before taking a PhD scholarship at the Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. He was subsequently awarded his PhD for a thesis entitled “Wind induced heat losses from solar dish receiver systems” and joined back NED University as a faculty member.
He has done extensive research work in the areas of Renewable Energy, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Energy Utilization. His work has been published in different reputed International Journals. Dr. Uzair is currently supervising PhD. and MSc students. He is also the reviewer of different reputed and prominent journals in the field of renewable energy. Dr. Uzair is the student branch advisor of ASHRAE NED Student chapter branch and has been nominated as Co-Chair Student Activity for year 2021-22 for ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter.
