ASHRAE Region-at-Large is proud to highlight the recent visit of YEA Regional Vice Chair, Ms. Eman Sherif, to the ASHRAE Ghana Chapter.
The itinerary included a vibrant YEA Connect session hosted by Atlantic, filled with insightful discussions and networking. This was followed by a successful Career Fair at Accra Technical University, where Ms. Sherif joined a panel on Career Opportunities in the Industry, answered live audience questions, and delivered an inspiring presentation on YEA in ASHRAE.
Together, we continue building a stronger, more connected community of young engineers across the Region-at-Large.
Key highlights from the recent visitĀ of Osama Khayata, Regional Vice Chair, to the ASHRAE Lebanese Chapter.
The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the chapter and the region, support chapter initiatives, and promote knowledge exchange to advance ASHRAEās mission in Lebanon.
The program included a technical seminar at the Order of Engineers in Tripoli, bringing together engineers and professionals to discuss the latest innovations in HVAC&R and sustainable engineering solutions.
The opening ceremony of the 3rd International ASHRAE Conference on Energy & Indoor Environment for Hot Climates, organized by the ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter, was held under the patronage of the Qatar Society of Engineers and honored by the presence of ASHRAE Society President M. Dennis Knight Knight.
As part of his official visit to the Region-at-Large, President Knight engaged in a series of impactful events and technical visits across Qatar, reflecting ASHRAEās commitment to global collaboration and innovation in the built environment.
šļø GORD Visit President Knight, along with senior delegates, was warmly welcomed by the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) at its QSTP headquarters.Ā
š Site Visit to Qatar District Cooling Company – Qatar Cool A field visit was made to Qatar District Cooling Company (Qatar Cool)’s largest district cooling plant at The Pearl ā Qatar. The visit showcased cutting-edge district cooling technology and its impact on urban sustainability.
š Qatar University Engagement President Knight also visited Qatar University, where he addressed mechanical engineering students on the vital role of HVAC systems in our daily lives. He also took the opportunity to commend the ASHRAE Student Chapter members for their dedication and contributions to advancing engineering excellence.
ASHRAE Region-at-Large proudly celebrates the successful inauguration of the ASHRAE Alexandria Chapter, a significant milestone in expanding ASHRAEās global footprint and advancing the arts and sciences of HVAC&R across new regions.
As the third stop on ASHRAE Society President M. Dennis Knight Regional visit, this event was a powerful reminder of ASHRAEās mission to inspire, connect, and support professionals across all corners of the world.
